These include voting reforms, labor rights, minority rights, child labor laws, public safety, anti-lynching, immigration, the environment, education, temperance, voting rights, civil service testing, women’s health and public health, etc.  Step 2, analyze the evidence. Write what YOU find to be the movement that you would have most likely joined and why? Why particular strategies, events, and individuals within those movements would you have supported, and why? Also, the state which movement you would have most likely opposed and why.   Step 3, communicate your findings honestly to yourself and others. Write a paper showing your conclusions from your analyses, and the copious evidence (statistics, events, and examples) that led you to those conclusions.
