This class is about the bible Details Christianity is a global, cross-cultural religion in which all people, regardless of national origin, become one family under God. For this assignment, you will reflect on the complex issues faced by Christian churches in diverse societies. STEP 1: First read the following verses about the multicultural, multiethnic, and multiracial nature of the Church: Acts 17:26-27 (The same God made all people, whatever their nationality.) Galatians 3:26-29 (All Christians are united into one family in Christ.) Colossians 3:11 (The Church is to disregard social and cultural barriers to promote inclusion of all Christians.) Revelation 7:9-10 (In the end, God's People will include members from every ethnicity.) Be sure to read the LASB notes on these passages, too. Then watch this short devotional video from pastor Dr. Tony Evans: Please watch the video STEP 2: After reviewing the Bible passages, LASB notes, and the devotional video, reflect on the theme of unity and inclusion in the Bible, and then write one or more paragraphs on the following question: How is the Biblical theme of unity and inclusion is similar to and different from modern appeals to diversity and difference you are familiar with? Be sure to engage closely with the Biblical text in your answer. (This section of your paper should be about 1 page long.) STEP 3: Finally, think back to your Church Visit assignment and briefly answer the following questions: I will download for you on the files the Church Visit assignment How much diversity did you observe in your church visit?
