Answer the following question in a thoughtful paragraph For your final discussion post of the semester, I would like you to check out the Voices of 9-11 project housed at the September 11 Digital Archive . Listen to one of the accounts of the personal memories of 9-11. Briefly relate to the rest of us what they talked about. (Be sure to include their name in you post) What do they remember? How would you characterize the delivery of their history (spontaneous? thoughtful? emotional? etc.). How long after 9-11 was this interview recorded? After you have described the content of the video, discuss how you think the dynamics of the interview influenced how or what they remembered of events. How would the interview have been different if they were speaking to an actual interviewer rather than a camera? How might their recollections have taken a different shape if they were accompanied by a friend or family member? In your view, what would have been the best way to "collect" stories of 9/11? With a video camera? An interviewer? In groups? In written form? You can find A LOT more interviews here if you feel like looking around.
