This is an essay for a human rights class, meaning it will need to have information pertinent to human rights. Including but not limited to actual human rights documents (i.e.: the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Canadian Charter of Rights, and/or the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples). I have attached all necessary documents and insturtcion below. Please read the assignment instructions thoroughly (I've blocked out information specific only to my program/class) and be sure to follow the guidelines. I've attached pdf files of our class slides so that you have a chance to understand the viewpoints on which to touch in this paper. I have also included some short questions I have done for this class for an example of how to approach these topics. Linked below are also two readings I've done for this class. If you use these as sources, they do not count as the five reuqired sources -for those, please use peer-reviewed sources. Please address all 9 topics of: individual liberty, liberal democracy, Foucault and Deleuze, orientalism, race and racialization, marxist power perspective, discourse and power, queer theory, and feminism. And be sure to relate it all back to the essay prompt: Critically assess the potential and the limits of the idea of human rights in providing protection against relations of power. If you feel as if you can complete this assignment to expectation and within the deadline, I would be glad to work with/hire you!
