This is a semester in review. Students are to write a reflection paper on several documentary movies related to the topics covered in the course. Do not write summaries of the films. Reflect on what you watched. Reflective journal requires that you highlight what you have learned from the reading material and films or videos watched in class. Reflective journals can demonstrate something you already knew or learned after watching the video. Reflective journals are not summaries of the films, or the reading material, students can write from a personal point of view. They can be effective ways to help develop self-understanding and strengthen your personal skills. Some of the films are: "The Myth of Race, Debunked in 3 Minutes." Race the Power of An Illusion, Episode II (The Story We Tell) "The Racial Wealth Gap in America." "7 Things Your Colorblind Racist Friend Might Say and How to Respond."
